Prosecutor Auditor at the Prosecution Authority

Do you want to contribute to effective crime fighting through an expert role at the Prosecution Authority? We are now looking for a prosecutor auditor who will contribute to the Prosecution Authority's mission to investigate and prosecute crimes and limit the criminal profits of offenders.

Your Responsibilities

As a prosecutor auditor at the Stockholm Prosecution Area, based at one of the Prosecution Chambers in City, Norrort, Södra, or Västerort, you will have an expert role primarily in crime exchange issues, money laundering, and financial investigations. You will be a resource for the entire Stockholm prosecution area and work with all chambers belonging to the area. You will enter criminal investigations at an early stage and are expected, under the guidance of the prosecutor, to lead and evaluate the police's work in criminal investigations within these areas. You will assist the prosecutor during seizure and main hearings in court and also work with various types of confiscations, such as independent confiscation, exchange confiscation, extended confiscation, and confiscation under the money laundering criminal law.

The position also includes assignments as an educator, work with business development, and collaboration with other authorities. The position involves travel primarily within Sweden, but there may also be travel abroad.

Your Qualities and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• has a degree in economics or law or a higher education that the Prosecution Authority deems relevant
• has experience working with the review and investigation of economic crime, asset investigations, crime exchange issues, or equivalent within e.g. the judiciary, Customs, the Tax Agency, or the Enforcement Authority, alternatively has experience reviewing economic crime, money laundering, or similar from the private sector
• has good IT skills and is proficient primarily in Excel and PowerPoint, or equivalent programs.

About the Employment

The employment is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.

The position is classified in a security class, and therefore a security review with a background check will take place.

Tests may occur in the recruitment process.
